On March 29, several Mason Prep families participated in Charleston's annual Walk for Water, raising over $7,500 for this amazing organization.
Said Mr. Huser, who headed up the MPS team, "This event raises money and awareness for Water Mission, a local organization that helps provide safe drinking water to developing nations around the world, as well as assisting with refugees and disaster response. Walk for Water simulates the walk that thousands of women and girls must do daily just to get water for their families, while also educating and inspiring along the way. Participants walked 1.5 miles to Water Mission Headquarters with an empty bucket. There, they filled their bucket with dirty water and carried it another 1.5 miles to the end of the walk, where the water was processed and made safe and drinkable. Thanks to not only the families that participated, but also our extended Mason Prep family that helped raise over $7500 for this worthy organization!"
