Community Service Projects
Every grade at Mason Prep completes a community service project over the school year.
Each grade chooses a project, and teachers weave the work and lessons learned from these projects through areas of study. Students explore the issues and challenges around their project, as well as the impact of their efforts, more fully than is typical with more traditional community service initiatives. Students come to understand that they are part of a larger community and they learn that they can make a difference.
